SURRENDER

A long sigh

Gives rise

Where a cry

Once breathed.

The pain thinned out

By the deflation

of the lungs.

Then, a paused relief.

The linger is brief.

The inhale readies

The soul

Like an arrow

on a bow

Focusing on the target

For the upcoming blow.

WHISSSH, there it goes!
